Monitoring and Evaluation

The 40K model is founded on the premise that developing English language proficiency is vital to the future of children in economically disadvantaged regional and remote communities around the world.  We believe that when children can read, write and speak English, they can read to learn and engage confidently in basic conversations, which, in the long term, will improve their socio-economic status through increased education and employment opportunities.

In poorer villages and towns, issues such as limited access to electricity, poor/no internet and lower teaching quality pose significant barriers to students learning English.  The 40K PLUS app addresses these challenges by transforming village classrooms into tablet-based learning centres.
